Candidates must have an active email ID and phone number before filling up JEE Main form. - Enter the security pin and check the box against the statement – ‘I have verified and uploaded the images carefully.’
- Click on the ‘Upload’ button.
- Once you click the button, the page will redirect to the final step of JEE Main application fee payment.

Payment of JEE Main 2023 Registration Fee
The final step of JEE Main application form submission was all about paying the required fee. Application fee for JEE Main 2023 session 1 can be paid till January 12, 2023 (till 11.50 p.m.). Follow the steps below to submit the application fee before the given deadline:
- Click on ‘Proceed for Payment’.
- Select the mode (Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking, UPI, or PayTM) and provide the details.
- Make the payment of the JEE Main application fee.
- Take a printout of the filled-up application form and the confirmation page.
Please note that the candidates will have to pay the JEE Mains fees, processing charges per every transaction, and GST (applicable at 18%).

It is to be noted that candidates could not pay JEE Main registration fee through any other mode like money order, DD or demand draft, etc. The officials will reject their application form if candidates pay through a non-acceptable mode. JEE Main application fees will not be refunded or returned under any situation. NTA will entertain no request for a JEE Main application fee refund once the candidate pays the application fee.
JEE Main 2023 Password Recovery
Candidates can retrieve the JEE Main application form password by following the steps given below:
- Candidates who fill out the JEE Main Form must visit the JEE Main candidate login window.
- After visiting the page, candidates must click on the button ‘Forgot Password?’ button.
- Now the candidates will see three options to retrieve the JEE Main 2023 password, and the options as listed below:
- Use the security question and its answer chosen during JEE Main 2023 registration.
- Use the Verification Code sent via text message (SMS) to the candidate’s registered mobile number.
- Use a reset link which will be sent via email ID to the candidate’s registered email address.
- Candidates can opt for any of the above options and follow the instructions as displayed on the screen to retrieve their JEE Main form password.

As per the official notification dated December 15, 2023, NTA decided not to open any correction window for JEE Main application form. So, candidates must fill in their application form carefully.
However, if NTA allows the correction facility for JEE Main 2023 online form, candidates can follow the subsequent steps to make amendments to their application forms. To edit the applications, the following steps can be used:
- Visit the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the link for the correction facility.
